Hello Aftab, the Last week of October may be called November. Second, if this is your first time, then I’ll advice you to take a guide with you. Without a guide, because the trail is not marked, and October end being too cold, it might turn out to be a problem on your own.

I am came across your blog while searching for Dashaur Lake. I am a solo traveler and planning to visit Manali in the last week of October. This would be my first time in North. I am an occasional trekker and have trekked a few Forts and Mountain in Maharashtra. I was searching for one day trek in Manali when I got to know about this Lake, I would appreciate if you could please point the directions towards this lake, as I would be trekking solo I want to be sure to have the directions right, or if Local guides would be available to accompany me on this trek.

Yes, Rohtang is doable as late as October end. Rohtang is worth a visit across the year, but you won’t find any snow now up there. Thanks for commenting.
