December 2010

Kurukshetra, The land of the Mahabharat. It is believed that Paandav’s built thousands of temples in the country. The reservoir is known as ब्रह्म-सरोवर and it is one of the largest reservoirs I have seen, Bhopal Lake (भोजताल) is probably the largest.

This is the best place to learn swimming. You earn some religious point too. After all this is where they fought for years [महाभारत] to realize only that wars serve no purpose.

The Blessed Chariot. Arjun, Hanuman and Sri Krishan

The Atari-Wagha Border. Flag hoisting ceremony.
Journey Days: 4
Distance Covered: 1260 kilometers
